SUSE Launches New AI Products to Boost ML and AI Capabilities

SUSE, a prominent provider of open source solutions, recently unveiled a series of new products designed to enhance artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, tapping into the expanding AI sector. The launch included SUSE AI Workspaces, a tailor-made solution that simplifies the development of AI and machine learning (ML) applications.

SUSE AI Workspaces is equipped with a variety of pre-configured tools and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn. This range helps data scientists and developers to efficiently construct, train, and implement AI and ML models. Further enhancing its appeal, the platform integrates automated machine learning, efficient model management, and streamlined deployment processes, thereby facilitating the operationalization of AI and ML initiatives for organizations.

Furthermore, SUSE introduced the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for AI and HPC. This new operating system is engineered to support demanding AI and high-performance computing (HPC) workloads and comes optimized for kernel tuning. It also supports GPUs and FPGAs and includes compatibility with leading AI and ML frameworks.

These innovations are part of SUSE’s strategic plan to enlarge its footprint in the AI sector, which is projected to escalate to $309.6 billion by 2026. SUSE has been actively investing in AI and ML technologies over recent years, and these latest offerings are geared towards empowering organizations to harness AI and ML for enhanced innovation and growth.

John Clancy, Vice President of Global Alliances at IBM, a long-term partner of SUCE, expressed excitement about SUSE’s ongoing dedication to AI and ML technologies. He noted that the new platforms provide a robust and versatile environment for building and deploying AI and ML applications, which is beneficial for IBM’s customer base.
